One of the main attractions when visiting El Nido is island hoping around one of the 45 islands and inlets. The crystal clear waters and sea life are a great place for diving and snorkeling.
On our second day in town, we met a wonderful couple from Montreal who were staying in the cottage next to us. They recommended we take a day tour from Martin at Rics Sons Restaurant, located along the beach. Martin turned out to be one of the best recommendations because he was quite knowledgeable and had great communication skills. I hope he’s still there the next time I visit.
There are three different package tours available. Tours A, B and C will follow a specific route and stop at about 4-5 different islands, snorkeling spots, little caves and includes a lunch on the beach.
The package tours can be taken privately or with a group. I can’t remember the exact pricing for either. If the preselected routes aren’t your thing, you also have the option to create your own private tour to any of the islands.
To organize a tour, you can visit any of the restaurants in town or ask at your hotel. Everyone will be more than happy to help you out.
